This story begins in a provincial European town in the
middle of the last century. Mitra is a ten-year-old boy,
raised by his mother and his grumpy great-aunt.
His father had disappeared just when the boy was born.
One day, Mitra discovers an old pair of glasses that
can transport him to Ritag, a parallel world where
all the human memories and fantasies reside.
Mitra goes there to find out the answers to his father's disappearance. He gets into a series of adventures, foraging to the other side of Ritag and battling with
the army of the Darkman and the demonic Tree of Dissension. In his fight against the enemy, the brave
boy gets help from the enigmatic creatures of Ritag
who grow on the trees, the Magi, the giant Trampler
and the Mystery Girl, who turns out to be Ritag’s soul.
Buried in the roots of the Tree of Dissension,
Mitra finds the stolen memories of his father.
These memories are the key to understanding
the boy’s destiny as well as Ritag's.
